Randeep Hooda expressed his reluctance to see Ankita Lokhande in the film ‘Veer Savarkar’ and revealed the reasons behind his decision.

Ankita Lokhande, who gained recognition in Salman Khan’s reality show Bigg Boss 17, is currently busy promoting her upcoming film “Veer Savarkar.” The film is set to release in theaters on March 22. Ankita Lokhande had revealed details about her role in this film after exiting Bigg Boss 17. In the movie, she will portray the character of Yumnabai Savarkar, the wife of Veer Savarkar, with Randeep Hooda playing the opposite role. However, it’s interesting to note that Randeep initially did not want to cast Ankita in the film. Ankita Lokhande herself disclosed this information during a recent promotion event in Pune with Randeep Hooda.

Ankita shared, “Recently, when Randeep and I were promoting the film, he told me that he didn’t think I was suitable for the role. He mentioned that I am too beautiful for the character and he had done extensive research to understand what he wanted for his role. He was so sure about his vision for the character (Yumnabai Savarkar) that he knew exactly what he needed for the film. She was a successful woman behind a successful man (Veer Savarkar), and he had a clear understanding of her character.”
