The BHIM App, India’s BHIM payment app, is offering a guaranteed cashback of ₹750 to users. However, this offer is for a limited time. The offer is available for all types of merchant payments, including transactions in the travel and food categories. Additionally, the BHIM app is providing 1% cashback on payments for petrol, diesel, and CNG fuel to promote its services.
It’s worth noting that this immediate offer is facilitated through the BHIM app. Users can avail of the benefits until March 31, 2024, as the offer will expire after that date. Let’s delve into the details of what users can receive during this period.
Cashback on Travel and Food Categories:
BHIM app users will receive a cashback of ₹30 if they make transactions exceeding ₹100 in the food and travel categories. This includes activities such as railway ticket booking, taxi rides, cab services, bus tickets, etc. Moreover, users will also get cashback for food category transactions by scanning QR codes at restaurants.
Under this offer, a user can receive a maximum cashback of ₹150. This means users can avail themselves of cashback five times on food and travel items. The cashback will be directly transferred to the user’s bank account linked to the BHIM app. Users should ensure that they have the latest version of the BHIM app (version 3.7 or higher) on their phones to avail of this offer.
Cashback on Rupay Credit Cards:
For users making merchant UPI payments using Rupay credit cards through the BHIM app, there is a cashback offer of ₹600. However, to benefit from this offer, users must link their Rupay credit cards to the BHIM app. Once linked, users will receive a ₹100 cashback.
After that, users will get a flat cashback of ₹100 on the first three payments exceeding ₹100 until March 31. Following this, in the next 5 transactions in February, users making payments exceeding ₹200 will receive a ₹30 cashback. Similarly, in March, users making the first five payments exceeding ₹200 will receive a cashback exceeding ₹30.
Cashback on Utility Bills:
In addition to the above, users can also get a 1% cashback on payments of at least ₹100 for petrol, diesel, CNG, electricity, water, and gas bills until March 31, 2024.
